Are you a Christian company?
Yes, unapologetically so. This company would not exist without a calling from the Holy Spirit and we will not dishonor that legacy by hiding our true nature. We do not discriminate against anyone seeking our services. You should be aware, however, that any assistance we provide is going to be from a Christian perspective. If that is not for you, we thank you for your interest but respectfully suggest that we might not be the right fit for you.
Why Lighthouse?
That's a fair question (particularly as we're not exactly near the ocean here in Montana). Lighthouses are often seen as protectors and guardians of those who are lost or in peril. They create a fixed reference point in the dark or storm that a ship can navigate by. Similarly, Christ is the fixed point by which we can navigate the storms of life. He gives us the freedom to make our own choices but He’s always there if we choose to look. As He is the center of everything we do at BLC, it seems appropriate to recognize it in our branding. It is our hope that we can help to equip you with the skills and knowledge you will need in order to withstand the storms of life.
Why is there a star in your logo?
The star represents the Bright Morning Star which is the name that Jesus gives Himself in Revelation 22:16. Just as some stars can be used for navigation, so too does Christ act as a navigation beacon in our lives. Being both fully God as well as fully man, He is ideally suited to helping us discover our unique, God-given design and purpose.
Why don't you meet with female clients one on one?
This policy exists for the mutual protection of the ministry's reputation as well as that of the clients. By never meeting in isolation, both parties are shielded from accusations of impropriety or marital unfaithfulness. Under most circumstances, my wife will be present with all female clients but (in special circumstances) alternative arrangements can be made should a different third-party witness be desired.
